Our story .
A small family business, 20+ years in organics, on Tamborine Mountain.

Why "Nosey Gnome"?
The name comes from a nickname my brothers gave me — Nosey and Gnome — after a 1960s TV show called Paulus the Woodgnome. It stuck. The gnome's been with me ever since.

Organics, since 2002.
It started with a conversation in Melbourne in 1991 — a mate talking about organic food, how it was grown, how it tasted. I read what I could, tried it, and that was that.
By 2002 I was working on an organic farm and selling organic fruit and veg myself, and I've been at it ever since.

Helensvale, Robina, and the mountain.
In March 2020 I took over the farm shop on Tamborine Mountain. My daughters work alongside me now.
You'll also find us at the Helensvale market every Saturday and the Robina market every Sunday. To me, organic still means what it did in 2002 — clean, safe, nutritious. Food grown by working with nature, not against it.
